Adult Programs

The Family Strengthening program was created to provide day-to-day general assistance as a method to engage individuals in the Hmong community to be more involved citizens and to increase opportunities to them.

The services provided through this program include assistance in the areas of social, economic, health, education, and transportation. The interpretation and translation services include making phone calls, assisting at the bank, medical and dental appointments, and assisted trips to the Hennepin County Economic Assistance Center, Social Security Administration, Minnesota Department of Economic Security, Minneapolis Public Housing Authority, and Minneapolis Public Schools.

Family Strengthening

To build the capacity of Southeast Asian individuals and families so they can fully participate in American Life while retaining important cultural values and traditions.

Our Elderly Connection Program is designed to give elders the opportunity to maintain a healthy active lifestyle by participating in short exercise classes followed by tours to a variety of places to gain different experiences along with improving health conditions, such as reducing stress, depression, diabetes, and etc.

The agenda for the Elderly Connection Program begins by asking elders to do exercises and then continues with routine activities. These activities may include field trips or activities like playing games and winning prizes.
